I hail from beautiful Winston-Salem, North Carolina with parents and grandparents that passed on their love of gardening, food, family, and fellowship.

Born to garden, I joined the 4-H Agricultural club in elementary school, and every spring and summer looked forward to harvesting my Grandfather’s large tomatoes, bell peppers, and okra.

I cherish still the memories of the red geraniums that faithfully adorned the ceramic pots on the front porch, and the beds filled with every shade of fragrant peonies.

My grandmother’s rich and delicious food, (this woman was incapable of a bad meal), she was quick-witted, with an amazing memory and endless love of her family.

My mother shared and gifted me her love of people, a compassionate heart, pearls, fashion but most of all, her passion for food. Nobody on earth makes me laugh harder, who cheers me on the loudest and whose company and table I can’t wait to join than my mother’s!

My most important role is as wife and mother of two amazing boys; my days, arms, and heart are always full. I’m now sharing all my love with my loves. Continuing the tradition of gardening/food/family…

Lifestyle by Kendra was born from my love of celebrating the beauty and bounty of life. You’ll find me hiking with my family, baking a cake, planting bulbs in my garden, or simply laying on a blanket in the sun.

I firmly believe in the power of expression and empowering others to put their signature on everything they do.
